The Poverty Lawyers
MUCH has been and will continue to be written about the question of class action litigation as practiced by ,poverty lawyers. Some of the issues are touched upon in Harry Brill’s, ‘The Uses and Abuses of Legal Assistance,” in issue No. 31 (Spring 1973) of The Public Interest; but Brill’s article is so weakened by inaccuracies and omissions, and so malicious in tone, as to render it virtually worthless—except perhaps as a political document.
