Problems and non-problems in the American economy
EVEN IF WE could agree on the facts, which we cannot, there would be much room for disagreement about what the problems of the American economy actually are. To say that something is a problem is to say something about what is desirable and what is possible, and both points are matters of taste and opinion. So in candor I must say that my view of the problems of the American economy may not be shared by many others.
